travel to the past
Since I was a girl, the pyramids have always piqued my curiosity. I would love to travel back to 2500 B.C., when triangular shapes were in vogue, and the pharaohs were at their zenith.
I'm sure you are aware that the pyramids were the tombs of the pharaohs. During this time, when pharaohs or wealthy individuals passed away, their bodies were carefully prepared to be preserved for a long time, resulting in the existence of mummies. They also believed in the afterlife, so alongside the bodies, they placed items such as furniture, food, money, and anything that could be useful in the afterlife.
The most important pyramids are those of Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Khephren), and Menkaure (Mycerinus). These were built by thousands of workers. Contrary to what some may believe, these workers did not receive bad treatment. While the work was undoubtedly strenuous, they carried it out with honor in the name of their pharaohs, who appreciated their efforts and provided them with food and money to support their families.
Well, all of this happened in what we now call Egypt, in the northeastern part of the African continent, this civilization began 5000 years ago an lasted for 3000 years!!
The ancient Egypt still piques my curiosity because we don't know if that know is true or we could be mistaken, we don't know anything with certainty.
Besides, there are many myths about this civilization, such as, for example, that they received revelations from extraterrestrials due to their advancement for that time, in addition to the construction of the pyramids so well made, that it's difficult to understand how they managed to achieve something like that.
